Russia increased gold production by 11.8% in 2025 - Rosstat
In 2025, Russia increased the production of unwrought or semi-wrought gold, or in powder form, by 11.8% compared to the previous year, while silver production decreased by 1.1%, according to data from Rosstat.
At the same time, in December 2025 compared to December 2024, gold production jumped by 76.5%, and compared to the previous month (November 2025), it increased by 63.0%.
In December 2025 compared to December 2024, silver production increased by 23.9%, and compared to the previous month (November 2025), it soared by 36.1%.
Rosstat does not provide absolute figures for the extraction and production of precious metals.
