Rosnedra will check licenses for development restrictions
The Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation has formed an order according to which Rosnedra will be obliged to identify restrictions established by water and forest legislation at the stage of preparing a subsoil plot for licensing. The Ministry of Justice of Russia has registered the document.
"We found out that almost two years are spent on approvals for adjacent natural objects. Today we are changing the situation," said the head of the Ministry of Natural Resources Alexander Kozlov. Thanks to the innovations, the subsoil user will be able to see possible restrictions even at the stage of familiarization with the auction documentation.
According to the updated order, when forming lists of subsurface areas for licensing, Rosnedra will be required to send requests to Rosvodresursy, Rosleskhoz and other authorized state authorities to identify possible restrictions established by water and forest legislation.
